Education stands as the cornerstone of our endeavors, serving as the cornerstone through which we foster empowerment within the Dalit community. Through a series of meticulously crafted projects, we have embarked on a journey to instigate a powerful wave of change, one that is deeply rooted in education’s transformative potential.
Prerna Hostel cum Special School
Our Prerna Hostel serves as both a residential facility and an exclusive educational institution for 150 Musahar girls in Danapur. Providing more than just a roof over their heads, this hostel provides a nurturing environment where these girls receive quality education and holistic support. With great pride, we have recently expanded the school’s curriculum to include classes XI and XII, enabling these young minds to pursue higher education and expand their horizons.
UNICEF – Mobile Learning Resource Centre
Our mobile learning resource centers in collaboration with UNICEF Targeting out-of-school areas, it reaches children and mothers from these marginalized communities in the most remote areas. Using mobile buses equipped with educational tools and resources, we run important informational campaigns.
Through our diverse educational programs, we aim to break barriers, nurture talent, and provide opportunities that create a ripple effect of positive change within the Dalit community. Education is not just about learning; it’s about empowerment, dignity, and creating a path to a brighter future.
Empowering Futures: IIMPACT Learning Centers' Impact on Dalit Education
In association with IIMPACT, we have established 45 learning centers strategically located across Punpun and Bihta Blocks. These centers focus on providing educational support, particularly targeting adolescent girls and boys who are often in vulnerable situations. The centers not only offer academic guidance but also serve as safe spaces for children in need of care and protection, fostering a conducive learning environment.
