We firmly believe that sustainable livelihoods form the bedrock of societal progress. Through our programs, we actively engage with the Dalit community, particularly women, enabling them to explore diverse avenues of self-sufficiency. By steering away from traditional norms, we guide these individuals towards alternative means of sustainable income generation.
One of our key endeavors revolves around kitchen gardening and agriculture, marking a crucial transition from liquor production to a more sustainable practice. Over 1500 women farmers have reaped the benefits of this initiative, experiencing improved food security and financial independence. Remarkably, several women have even managed to purchase their land through the profits earned from farming endeavors. They also start providing education to their children in private schools.
Moreover, our partnership with Wabtac Corporation Ltd. has opened doors to skill development programs. These initiatives provide young women and girls with training opportunities in tailoring and beautician courses, fostering entrepreneurship and equipping them with valuable skills for economic autonomy.
